New Business Course for Women Entrepreneurs Launched

On September 23, 2024, a unique educational project called "Business Start" was launched in Kharkiv, designed to help women embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. The course, organized by the NGO "Age of Opportunities" with support from UN Women in Ukraine and funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), aims to empower women with the knowledge and skills needed to build successful businesses from the ground up.

The program consists of 15 sessions, covering all key aspects of creating and running a business — from finding a business idea to legal formalities and marketing strategies. It is targeted at women from Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, regardless of their professional background. Participants will receive mentoring support from experienced business coaches and industry experts, allowing them to apply both theoretical and practical knowledge throughout the course.

"Business Start" offers women the opportunity to develop business ideas, conduct market analysis, create marketing strategies, and build financial plans. Special attention is given to the legal aspects of running a business, which is especially important in times of conflict.

The course is divided into three key modules led by highly qualified experts:

  • Lilianna Semeniuta (Marketing),
  • Anna Batiuk (Business Planning),
  • Yana Savchenko (Legal Matters).

According to the organizers, over 50 participants have already registered, and the course is expected to be the foundation for many successful startups and projects.
