About the project

The "Online Academy for Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders" project is being implemented by the NGO "Age of Opportunities" with the technical support of UN Women in Ukraine and the financial support of the UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). WPHF is a flexible and rapid financing mechanism that supports quality initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of local women in conflict prevention, crisis response, and peacebuilding opportunities.

The "Online Academy for Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders" was created to support and inspire women and girls to achieve personal financial security. Each participant is provided with mentoring support – we will guide them to the result. The course programs are designed to equip participants with all the knowledge and tools necessary for success.

Courses

A team of experienced practitioners has developed 6 unique courses.

The UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is the only global mechanism created exclusively to support women's participation in peacebuilding and security processes, as well as humanitarian assistance. Managed by a range of representatives from civil society, governments, and the UN, WPHF is a trust fund with multiple partners that mobilizes urgently needed funding for local women-led organizations and works alongside women on the front lines to build lasting peace. Since 2016, WPHF has provided funding and supported the capacity of over 1,000 local women’s civil society organizations working on the agenda of "Women, Peace, and Security" and implementing humanitarian activities in 41 crisis-affected countries.
